Creative work at high school

This is the work that I did last year in high school. I did painting as one of my subjects and the theme of this painting is dealing with buildings in my city (Christchurch). I collaged a lot of different buildings by placing them on top of each other as well as joining buildings together to make one. I started with photogenic drawings and developed to an abstract style of painting. The painting shows richness by using oil paints and lean medium and finishing with varnish. To develop the painting to an abstract style, I used Dieter Roth, Clifford Still, and a few other artist's models.
