In my first sketchup from one of my section drawings, the materials for the parts of the building will be concrete for the underground section. The reason I have chosen concrete for the below, is that it is placed underground and it will need to have a strong support to stay and look safe and stable. The parts of the building for the above ground section will have different texture tiles for the rectangular part and glass for the spherical part.

I have worked a little on my first draft image just to give a sense of a more realistic image. I have applied some textures on the components to my 3D model to show the colour composition and what it might look like.
